I was originally born in India, but am probably most comfortable in the window seat of an airplane.

Ever since I was little, my world has been defined by everchanging, emphatically global communities. Having moved from India to Tanzania to Brazil to India to Ivory Coast and finally back to India again (whew! that was a lot), I’ve learnt to seek comfort not in physical spaces but rather in a sense of identity that is primarily derived from being able to observe, appreciate, and seamlessly integrate within several cultures. My mother often likes to exclaim, with the smallest of smile playing on her lips, “What can I say? We’re cosmopolitan!”
